History of Dimensionest
In all, there are hundreds of dimensions to choose from, all combined into a capital. The top dimensions are like a huge market place. They never sleep and are always busy and filled to the brim with creatures. In this capital, we lived, the Dimensioners. We solved problems and could go to any dimensions we wanted. The most powerful was in charge, along with her family. Yes, I said Her.
Prologue
There were once many of us, hundreds, no thousands of us, about seven hundred years ago. The Dimensioners ruled and guarded the Dimensionest. Each one of us was in charge of one dimension except our Queen Arianna Debora and whoever is her next heir. Arianna could go in any dimension, helping the others with problems that might be too big for them.
Arianna’s elder brother soon got jealous of his sister’s power. He thought it unfair that the girl should get all the power. Calicar was experimenting more and more in the dark magic. That made people nervous because dark magic was never good.
Now dark magic is not like what people think. It is much worse. It is more of controlling dark creatures, shadow, the dead, and sometimes people. It also changes your appearance, pitch black hair, black eyes, or scarlet at times. They can hide in the shadows, but the worst thing is those who practice black magic have no feelings. They can’t fall in love or even care about anything. They then must turn their back to the world.
Calicar even disappeared for quite awhile. He was alone in one of the most dangerous dimensions, plotting against his family. He planned one day he would have Arianna’s powers and her throne. He had no idea what would happen. That fate would not allow him to have that power.
During that time, Arianna found a husband and was married (not for love for back then, it was for money or power and only in the royal family). They had two kids, a girl named Liana, after her great grandma and Arthur, after their father.
Liana was a free spirited child. She followed her heart all the time but also was disciplined. She was powerful in white magic, like her mother. A great asset to the throne and when she would be queen, she would be great.
Arthur was not like his sister. He worked hard to beat her at anything, but always fell short. Until he found dark magic, he started little by little using it. When he finally beat his sister once, just once, then she got more power.
Their children grew in peace. Calicar had not been seen through the years. Liana when of age (which was around 17) married a man who her mother had arranged for. A powerful young noble named Jason.
Liana was happy with the marriage. Jason was smart, cute and, a perfect gentleman. She didn’t mind that it was a set up. But Liana’s brother Arthur did not agree. He left as soon as his sister was married. Arthur was never heard from again no matter how hard his sister looked.
Only a month after Liana and Jason were married. Liana became pregnant. Jason was a wonderful husband not letting her lift a finger. Liana liked being pampered as Jason took over until the baby was born.
On a crisp, cool evening on August 1st, Liana gave birth to a little boy. Jason was so elated about having a son and not a daughter first. Because the girls might have the power but they can’t rule without a man by their side. It was the law so if they didn’t have a girl, then whoever they arranged their son to marry would become the next queen.
Liana and Jason named their son Edward Jason Williams. Edward was from Liana’s father and Williams was their sire name. They had no idea how famous that name would be.
Eight years after Edward was born, Liana finally got pregnant again. They prayed that it would be a girl. They wanted a girl to lead the kingdom. They got their wish all right.
On a cold, snowy, strange night in April, Liana had a baby girl but Jason was gone fighting a resistance that was lead by Calicar. Liana named the girl Lily Arianna Williams and when Jason came back defeated in battle, they ran from Calicar’s forces.
Liana and Jason lost their power, but Calicar was not the ideal ruler. The dimensions fell into chaos. The Dimensioners were enslaved to serve Calicar. They wondered who would save them, before Calicar destroyed the dimensions for good.

Only a week after they had fled the main dimension, Jason and Liana settled into the big city of New York, New York. Liana was looking for work and Jason was watching the kids. They switched every other day, Jason would look for a job tomorrow. Jason had taken the kids to Central Park. Edward needed to be more comfortable and Jason felt that the park was safe.
“Daddy come push me,” Edward said running to the swing. Jason laughed putting Lily’s car seat by the blanket he had spread out only moments before. The swings were not that far from the blanket and Jason could see it from the swings.
“Alright I’m coming Edward,” Jason said walking toward the swings. Edward ran to an open swing and Jason laughed. His back was to the blanket for only seconds. Jason looked and the car seat was still in the same spot.
“Hey you two, it’s time to eat, I’m here,” Liana said hugging her husband. Jason smiled kissing her softly as they walked toward the blanket.
“Alright, come on Edward, back to the blanket,” Jason said. Edward caught up to his parents, taking his father’s hand and pulling him toward the blanket.
Liana lifted the blanket off of the baby carrier to feed Lily but it was empty. She turned to Jason her eyes filled with panic. “Did you take her out?” Liana asked. Jason shook his head fear in his eyes.
Jason ran down the path. Liana had called the police. How could someone take Lily so fast? He wasn’t facing the car seat for only seconds. The only possibility that could have taken her that fast was Dimensioners.
Jason looked over and under everything with the police. They did worldwide searches but nothing worked. James and Liana both knew that she could be anywhere.

A man with golden hair and eyes looked up at the building in front of him, holding the little pink blanket in his arms. He was in New York but in the country. He looked up at the sign of the orphanage. He stood in front of. Mrs. & Mr. Thorns home for children. The man walked up to the steps and sat the bundle down on the porch. Reading a sign that said NO DROP OFFS PLEASE and in tiny print but we will take them anyway. The man laughed and brushed a corner of the blanket out of the baby’s face.
“This is for your safety princess,” the man whispered and he rang the door bell, then he simply vanished like he didn’t even exist.
